ART IS ALIVE VEGAS FILM FESTIVAL

Very recently, I was covering a multitude of festivals in New York. Came to meet a few folks from Las Vegas, and they inspired me to look into doing a shortened version of my festival there. They expressed the need for more events of this type int his area, and the residents concurred. Hence, here I am offering a two-day film festival in the heart of Las Vegas!

The scheduled dates for this event are September 12-13, 2026. The schedule will include screenings of shorts and select feature films, along with a screenplay reading. There will also be a workshop on sales/marketing and promotion of films, along with a crash course on film distribution in 2026. We will also have an opening and closing night get together along with awards. What distinguishes my events apart from others is that I also offer the following: an award-winning journalist to do the Q and A, media interviews and reviews - and also aid with distribution of films.

As for projects, I accept any film up to ninety minutes in the following genres: Romance, Sci Fi, Horror, Animated, Comedy, Drama, Documentary, International and LGBT.  I also take web/TV series up to 60 minutes, along with proof-of-concept pieces with the same run time. Regarding screenplays, all genres up to 125 pages. Fees are simplistic - $40 for any film, web or TV type submission, and screenplays are $25. Any youth project is set at $10.

I open for submissions June 17, 2026 and close on July 21, 2026. Acceptances will go out by July 31, 2026.
